Pleasant Mount Farm Greenhouse

Life on the Farm at Pleasant Mount Farm in Huntington Center, Vermont

In addition to our colorful annuals and accent plants and Certified Organic vegetable and herb starts in the greenhouse, visitors can observe our flock of multi-colored sheep and lambs, and purchase colorful eggs, laid by our flock of hens, most of which are heritage breeds .

Heidi and Alan have lived in this house since 1991, having moved from the other side of the village. Huntington Center is their home. Alan moved here in 1971 and Heidi followed a few years later. They have three sons, who were born here, and attended the local schools. The boys are now 35, 34 and 32. Also, a key presence in the greenhouse is Heidi's sister Jody. And, we have neighbors helping with a variety of tasks - seeding, watering, transplanting - you name it!
